Official sources first
Time-sensitive facts — prices, hours, closure days, fares, reservation rules — are taken from the operator itself: the attraction’s official site, the railway or bus operator, or the government tourism office. Third-party summaries are never the only source for a claim. Each spot guide lists the official pages we checked under “Official Sources Checked”, and articles carry a “Sources checked” note with the main references.
What “Checked in …” means
When you see “Checked in July 2026” next to a price or schedule, it means we verified that fact against the official source in that month — not that the page was merely edited then. If a fact cannot be verified, we omit it or tell you to confirm on the official site rather than guessing. Details can still change after our check, so always confirm critical bookings with the operator.
Images
We only use images we have the right to use: openly licensed photographs (mainly Wikimedia Commons, with attribution and license noted) and our own uploads. Every image on the site is tracked in an internal license ledger, and images whose origin cannot be confirmed are removed rather than kept.
